After Milton Friedman's theory and its successful testing during the Chilean elections, crisis management became the main principle in exerting control over citizens. Governments achieved this by creating fictitious crises, such as the military attack on Iraq under the pretext of the presence of chemical weapons. This ultimately led to the transfer of a massive portion of oil revenue to private companies. Alternatively, they utilized real crises, like attempting to legalize the eavesdropping of citizens' conversations after the 9/11 incident in the United States or controlling bank accounts and the location of mobile phones during the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea. These situations provided an opportunity to exploit citizens' mental and emotional vulnerabilities, allowing for increased control over them. This can be seen as a complete invasion of their privacy and even contradictory to their public interests under normal circumstances. However, amidst all this, a scenario unfolds where Thomus' actions begin to stimulate, causing the realms of the future and freedom to plunge into an aura of uncertainty.
